Franz Jackson and the Original Jass All-Stars played the Red Arrow from 1956 until its final closing in 1967.  
The band periodically substituted a few members, but the core remained relatively stable during that period.

The Kubik and Jackson families have stayed in touch over the years, principally via his daughter Michelle Jewell.  She acted as his business manager and according to her and the local papers...

he was STILL PLAYING at 95!
