We started our day with a tour of the town of Nawiliwili, and some final shopping before our helicopter tour of the island.  Rather interesting shopping here.

We are going on a HELO ride around the island!

The tour was given by Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and was absolutely superb!  Great narrative, and we received a 55 minute DVD of our ACTUAL tour for $25!  This included 4 camera angles with in-cabin shots!  Thank you Captain Morley for a great ride!

When I said that we were there for a HELO (the military term) tour, they person in charge told me, "sorry, wrong island, HILO is south of here..." HUH!?   Not a great confidence builder.  Fortunately, this was a ship's crewman, not with the helicopter company.
